Blue Ridge Party Ice is a trading name of Blue Ridge Vending LLC, based in Winchester, Virginia. This page explains what we collect when you use this site, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What we collect

When you fill in a request form we collect what you give us: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery address and the details of what you need. If you call, text or email us, we keep that correspondence so we can pick up where we left off.

We also collect ordinary website information automatically — which pages you viewed, roughly where you are, what device you used, and how you found us.

Why we collect it

To quote and deliver your order, to contact you about it, to invoice you, and to understand which pages and ads actually bring in enquiries so we don't waste money on the ones that don't.

Text messages

We usually reply by text to the mobile number you give us, because it's the fastest way to sort out an ice delivery. Reply STOP at any time and we'll stop texting. Message and data rates may apply.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and your information passes through them: Squarespace (this website and its forms), Google (email, Analytics and Google Ads), Meta (advertising) and Intuit QuickBooks (invoicing and payments). We'll also share information where we have to — for example, to comply with the law.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics and advertising tags from Google and Meta. They use cookies to measure which pages and ads lead to enquiries, and they may show you our ads on other sites afterwards.

You can opt out through the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, Google ad settings or Meta ad preferences. Your browser's privacy settings can also block these.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept as long as we need them for business and tax purposes. Enquiries that don't turn into orders are kept for a couple of years, in case you come back to us.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email hugh@blueridgevend.com or call or text (540) 914-3382. We'll do it unless we're required to keep something for tax or legal reasons.

Children

This site is for businesses and adults booking deliveries. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
